Multifamily, Apartments, and Condo Conversions

Affinity Properties has represented clients in the acquisition, disposition, and conversion of over 150 units since 2005. We are experts in evaluating, valuing, and assisting clients in their multifamily ownership goals. Condominium conversions touched Austin starting in early 2006. Affinity Properties and Joe Cline were involved in seven conversion projects since 2005 with roles as commercial buyer’s broker, development partner, residential listing broker, and project manager.

Zilker Condominiums- Community Complete and Sold Out

Among our projects is the highly successful Zilker condominum conversion 22 units in the very popular near south Austin area were renovated. The team that Joe worked with was active in all phases of the project- from acquisiton of the complex,  through the legal aspects, and developing plans for renovation, marketing and disposition of the units.  

In just under 3 months all units went to contract! You can see this complex at 2021 Bluebonnet Lane in Austin just across the street from Zilker Elementary.

Thornton Condos  - Sold Out

The complex is located in an historic neighborhood with an active neighborhood association.  Desiring to maintain the flavor and character of the area  prompted the owner to renovate and restore rather than just scrape and rebuild.

Several units are currently undergoing renovation. About half of the units are currently under contract. The condos’ standard features include: stainless steel appliances, tile/laminate floors, granite counters, and new plumbing and lighting fixtures.

West 35th Street Condominiums - Sold Out 

These condos were finished out to either a base level or with luxury options such as hardwood flooring, Uba Tuba granite, brushed nickle lever door hardware, tubular skylights, and designer light and plumbing fixtures. As always, the developer entertained specific design requests. The earlier in the updating process, the more we can do to accommodate your specific tastes. This project is my personal favorite of any that we have completed to date. We added skylights, all in one washer dryers, microwave vent hoods and many other unique updates.

33rd Street Condos – Sold Out

Sold out in less than 2 weeks, these units are around 500 sq ft and were priced less than 100k. We have other projects coming online. If you are interested in getting a head start call and register with me for sneak previews and opportunites to purchase units before they hit the general market. 

Avenue A – Complete

13 Units left. Large 2/1 units to be finished out. This complex has some covered parking and is in a great location.

West 39 1/2 Street – Complete
