Bruce Liesman, General Counsel Independence Title

Often referred to as a “Renaissance Man” for wildly divergent interests and pursuits, I have the great privilege of serving as General Counsel of Independence Title Insurance. I graduated from the University of Texas, both undergraduate (BA in Drama) and law school. I have been directly involved in title insurance and closings for twenty four years. I reside in San Antonio with my lovely and artistically talented wife and two daughters. We are all very active in the local theater, dance, music and visual arts communities. We design and make beaded and fabricated metal jewelry. I love landscape design and growing plants of any kind with a particular fondness for tropicals. My wife and I both love to read and travel and I love to roller blade and photograph gardens and architecture. I grew up in a small town and my family continues to maintain two south Texas ranches.
